Service Operator – GBA

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Service Operator – GBA to support rigging and service line operations both on‑shore and off‑shore. You will work closely with the field team to ensure equipment is prepared, installed, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in rigging up and down service line equipment at well sites.
• Perform basic GeoBalance Applications operations, preparing equipment for installation and service.
• Support job execution, including clean‑up, repairs, and preparation for subsequent jobs.
• Monitor instruments and conduct calculations to guarantee data quality at the well.
• Work in the shop to repair and maintain equipment, identifying tool components by type and size.
• Promote positive customer relations on‑site and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in oil‑field drilling activities.
• At least 2 years of experience in underbalanced drilling or managed pressure drilling.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic reading and writing proficiency.
• Must meet the minimum competency requirements for Service Operator‑GBA.
