Service Technical Trainer - High Voltage Training

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY LTD is looking for a Service Technical Trainer in Dammam to develop the skills of field service teams and customers. You will deliver practical training on the PGSV portfolio, including high voltage systems and equipment, so that operations remain safe and reliable. The role is full time and based in Dammam.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training on PGSV portfolio equipment and safety protocols, for internal teams and external customers.
• Lead training sessions and oversee the certification of field service personnel.
• Maintain the Service Academy and its equipment, and prepare and update training documentation and bulletins.
• Provide expert technical support and advice to field service teams and run onboarding programs.
• Align training with business strategy and operational goals, and ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, industry standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical or field service role, ideally with high voltage equipment.
• Familiarity with high voltage equipment such as HV breakers (dead tank, live tank), GIS, GCB, PASS, disconnectors, grounding switches, power quality equipment and digital stations is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, and proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering concepts, and strong interpersonal skills.
