Service Trainee – Technical Services Internship

About the role

Join a brand‑new industrial scientific facility as a Service Trainee, gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge analytical equipment used in the industrial and energy sectors. Under senior engineers, you will learn to install, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated instruments while supporting field service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with installation and commissioning of high‑precision scientific instruments.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs to ensure equipment uptime.
• Support calibration activities in line with Saudi Arabian and international standards.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of service reports, equipment performance, and spare‑parts inventory.
• Follow HSE protocols and Saudi industrial regulations at all times.
• Accompany field service teams to client sites to develop professional communication and troubleshooting skills.

Required profile

• Recent Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Applied Physics or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting aptitude.
• Valid Saudi driver’s license or willingness to obtain one.
• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a multicultural team.
