Services Director – GCC (Riyadh)

About the role

Take on a new challenge as Services Director for the GCC region, leading Alstom’s rail and metro service portfolio in Saudi Arabia. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure operational excellence, financial stability and high customer satisfaction across all service projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all service projects across Saudi Arabia, including metro operations, railway system maintenance and transit system services.
• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient project execution in line with contractual commitments and customer expectations.
• Drive operational excellence, governance and continuous improvement across projects.
• Own the services portfolio’s P&L performance, ensuring financial transparency and cost control.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, authorities and stakeholders throughout the Saudi transport ecosystem.
• Mentor and develop project directors and leadership teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Operations Management or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• 20+ years of experience in railway or urban mobility services, with a strong operational background in railway or metro operations.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale Operations & Maintenance organisations and managing multi‑project service portfolios with full P&L accountability.
• Knowledge of the GCC and Saudi Arabian market (preferred) and strong leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience supporting bids, mobilisation and strategic growth initiatives.
