Shadow Teacher

About the role

ABC Center in Riyadh is looking for a Shadow Teacher to work on site. The role supports students in the classroom and at school, helping them reach their potential while using evidence-based programs and assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist students in the classroom and at school in reaching their potential and developing their individual talents.
• Create opportunities and motivation for children to become self-reliant, productive and critical thinkers.
• Use CBM for continuous assessment and run one-on-one sessions in Arabic and Math.
• Provide research-based strategies for reading, spelling and writing, using the ABC Center evidence-based program.
• Perform observations at school and make accommodations and modifications to the classroom setting.
• Write Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for students and give written reports to parents.
• Collect evidence of practice and student outcomes (IEP evaluation) to support continual improvement.
• Support parents with recommendations for home and school.
• Keep the therapy area clean and safe, putting materials back in their original places.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver a modern learning environment.
• Follow CARF standards and the employer's instructions and policies.
