About the role
We are looking for a skilled Shawarma Chef to prepare high‑quality shawarma and related menu items in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will ensure consistent taste, proper food preparation, strict hygiene standards, and attractive presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook chicken or meat shawarma following company recipes and standards.
- Marinate, slice, and grill meat using proper techniques.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion sizes, and plating.
- Keep the workstation clean and hygienic at all times.
- Monitor food quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Follow food safety and HACCP regulations.
- Assist with stock management and report shortages.
- Work efficiently during peak hours while preserving quality.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Shawarma Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and grilling techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to hygiene and food‑safety standards.
