Shift Engineer

About the role

As a Shift Engineer at Shebara Resort, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all hotel plant and equipment, supporting guest comfort and safety around the clock. You will work closely with other departments and external contractors to maintain high engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily work schedules, manage preventive maintenance, and respond to guest requests and emergencies.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, including air‑conditioning, water, and fire‑safety systems.
• Collaborate with operational departments to improve overall performance.
• Coordinate with external contractors and assist inspectors as directed by senior engineering staff.
• Communicate with all hotel departments to ensure equipment functions smoothly.
• Perform any additional tasks required to guarantee seamless hotel operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or resort engineering, covering mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to work shifts and handle emergency situations promptly.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external contractors.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and guest comfort.
