Site Architectural Engineer

About the role

CLEAR is looking for an experienced Site Architectural Engineer to oversee and manage architectural works on construction projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate ensures that architectural activities follow approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and schedules, working closely with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor architectural site works against approved drawings and specifications
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other disciplines
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues, providing technical solutions
• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to schedules and milestones
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes and health and safety requirements
• Prepare inspection requests, snag lists and punch lists, and monitor close-out
• Review completed works before consultant/client inspections and take part in project meetings
• Verify quantities and help evaluate variations and change orders when needed
• Maintain site documentation and support project handover

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience supervising architectural works on site
• Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure or large-scale projects
• Professional engineering registration or relevant accreditation preferred

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of construction methods, finishes and material specifications
• Familiarity with local and international building codes
• QA/QC procedures and site inspection processes
• Project management software is an advantage
