Site Engineer – Steel Structure

About the role

We are seeking a Site Engineer specialized in steel structures to join our Project Execution team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supporting mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance of baggage and cargo handling systems across various airport logistics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance of equipment.
• Guide subcontractors on best‑practice installation methods.
• Coordinate with construction and procurement to secure tools and consumables for site execution.
• Supervise and support steel‑work installation for projects.
• Prepare work packages for installation teams and provide input to the proposals department.
• Monitor site progress, report status and support quality inspections, snag resolution and handover.
• Identify risks, implement preventive actions with engineering and drafting teams, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel‑structure practices within industrial automation, preferably in baggage or material handling systems.
• Willingness to work on projects across Saudi Arabia.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
• Fluent English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
