Social Media Supervisor

About the role

Reef Group is seeking a creative and results‑driven Social Media Supervisor to lead and oversee social media activities across the Group’s brands and digital channels. The role will develop and execute social media plans, manage content calendars and ensure a consistent brand presence on all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media plans and content calendars across multiple platforms.
• Supervise day‑to‑day publishing, ensuring timely execution of approved content.
• Coordinate with content, creative, design, influencer, marketing and other teams.
• Monitor audience engagement, comments, messages and community interactions.
• Track performance metrics such as reach, growth and content effectiveness.
• Prepare reports, insights and recommendations for management.
• Support product launches, campaigns, promotions and seasonal activities.
• Identify trends, emerging formats and viral topics relevant to the GCC audience.
• Benchmark competitors and oversee influencer and creator‑related activities.
• Guide and mentor social media team members to ensure quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in social media, digital or content marketing.
• Previous experience supervising or leading social media activities or team members.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms.
• Understanding of social media analytics, audience growth and content performance.
• Experience in retail, beauty, fragrance, fashion, FMCG or agency environments is preferred.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
