Software Test Manager – Telecom Applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Manager to lead testing activities for telecom applications and platforms. The role involves defining test strategies, managing QA teams, and ensuring high‑quality delivery across OSS/BSS, CRM, billing and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, plans and methodologies for telecom projects.
• Lead and manage manual and automation testing teams.
• Oversee all testing phases including SIT, system, regression, UAT and end‑to‑end testing.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers and vendors.
• Manage defect lifecycle, risk assessment and mitigation.
• Drive test automation initiatives and continuous testing practices.
• Establish and monitor QA metrics, KPIs and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, Agile, DevOps and industry standards.
• Prepare status reports and provide quality insights to senior management.
• Support production releases and post‑deployment validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software testing experience, including 4+ years in a Test Manager role.
• Extensive experience in the telecommunications domain.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• OSS/BSS systems, CRM & billing platforms, order management & provisioning.
• Telecom mediation, network inventory and service assurance.
• Agile Scrum, DevOps and integration testing.
• API, database and performance (non‑functional) testing.
• Test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM/QC, TestRail.
• Automation tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Tosca.
