Sous Chef – Lebanese Cuisine

About the role

Join the culinary team of an AccorHotel property in Turaif, where you will support the Executive Chef in delivering high‑quality Lebanese dishes. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to develop your skills in a dynamic, high‑volume hotel kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations across all sections, ensuring smooth service.
• Supervise, train and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, recipe development and costing.
• Ensure dishes are prepared according to standard recipes, portion control and plating guidelines.
• Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation before service.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Control food costs, minimize waste and manage inventory of supplies and ingredients.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the purchasing department for timely delivery of quality ingredients.
• Act as Acting Chef in the Executive Chef’s absence to ensure continuity.
• Conduct staff briefings, on‑the‑job training and performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive culinary experience, including 1–2 years as a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie.
• Experience in a hotel, resort or high‑volume food & beverage operation preferred.
• Food Safety / HACCP certification is an advantage.
