Splunk Security Architect

About the role

Cisco's Professional Services Security practice in Riyadh is looking for a Splunk Security Architect to join its team of architects and consultants who help enterprise customers invest in Splunk SIEM, SOAR and AI-driven security operations. The role leads the planning and delivery of tailored Splunk security solutions and acts as a trusted advisor to senior customer leaders, working with product, engineering and customer success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide authoritative guidance on Splunk security, SIEM, SOAR and observability integrations
• Lead multi-functional security projects and advise CISO and IT leadership
• Plan, design and implement Splunk security architectures and apply AI and automation to improve security operations and incident response
• Maintain high-value customer relationships and define documentation standards for security deployments
• Build simulation environments, mentor team members and create reusable digital assets and standardised methodologies
• Work with Product Management to track security trends and share customer insights

Required profile

• University degree plus equivalent experience (minimum 8+ years)
• Demonstrable experience in customer-facing advisory roles, including scoping projects, estimating effort and drafting statements of work
• Preferred: experience leading complex security consulting or engineering projects, mentoring others, and presenting at industry events

Required skills

• Expert-level Splunk certification (e.g. Splunk Certified Architect or Consultant) or equivalent security certification
• Preferred: deep Splunk expertise, automation, SOAR orchestration and AI-driven security operations
