About the role

This is a high‑impact individual contributor position focused on building next‑generation automation and high‑reliability systems for Linux security products. You will combine deep backend engineering expertise with technical product ownership, influencing both technology and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own major product components and engineering workstreams from discovery through production and continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering, product, sales, and other stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements.
• Turn ambiguous objectives into clear technical plans, milestones, priorities, and actionable tasks.
• Design scalable architectures and make technical decisions for high‑impact areas while balancing delivery and maintainability.
• Build, review, test, and maintain production‑grade software with a focus on reliability, security, performance, scalability, and extensibility.
• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for components in production, including operation, troubleshooting, optimization, and evolution.
• Research emerging technologies, tools, and market approaches to inform decisions.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools throughout the engineering workflow to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to engineering quality through design reviews, mentorship, documentation, and best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning significant technical projects from conception to production.
• Strong hands‑on backend engineering experience.
• Deep Linux background and practical understanding of Linux‑based systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and review C code; hands‑on C programming and debugging is a strong advantage.
• Excellent system design and architectural skills with the ability to implement solutions directly.
