Static Engineer (RBI) – SHARQ Plant

About the role

The Static Engineer (RBI) will be responsible for overseeing risk‑based inspection (RBI) activities across all SHARQ plant equipment. The role acts as the focal point for RBI implementation, ensuring recommendations are effective and aligned with the plant’s reliability KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality procedures for health audits of stationary equipment and pipelines.
• Collect, prepare, review, and utilize technical data related to plant stationary equipment.
• Lead and facilitate RBI methodology support for the RBI team to achieve meaningful results.
• Study corrosion loops for specific equipment and associated piping to identify potential degradation mechanisms.
• Ensure the effectiveness of RBI study outputs, performing periodic revisions and corrections.
• Communicate with SABIC MCE regarding requirements, feedback, KPIs, and system improvements.
• Promote continuous improvement and embed a reliability culture through KPI monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading RBI analysis and reliability initiatives in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and stationary equipment health monitoring.
• Ability to develop and maintain audit procedures and quality documentation.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
