Stock Take Planner

About the role

The Stock Take Planner is responsible for coordinating physical inventory counts, ensuring accurate cut‑off dates, and delivering reliable stock count reports. This role works closely with store and district managers to provide visibility into inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with Store Managers and District Managers to gather inventory cut‑over data.
• Support departments in writing off SKUs or entire stores as needed.
• Prepare and update the SIM schedule and communicate it to stakeholders.
• Create product groups for stores/departments scheduled for stock count.
• Ensure all transactions (sales, DSD, RTV, DC charges) are posted before stock count initiation.
• Generate pre‑posting variance reports and select high‑variance SKUs for re‑verification.
• Correct and post count data in SIM, capture data for BI updates.
• Produce top‑30 SKU reports per location after each count.
• Reconcile counted stores for second‑adjustments and share fresh‑food inventory reports.
• Advise stores on adjustment issues and ensure results are posted on SIM/RMS according to the monthly plan.
• Analyze final stock‑take results to identify discrepancies, repeated patterns, and high‑value variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operational financial activities.
• Strong financial and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
