Storage & Data Solutions Intern (COOP)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Storage & Data Solutions Sales Organization drives market leadership in enterprise storage, data protection and modern infrastructure. As a Data Solutions/Storage Specialist Intern, you will work alongside experienced sales, presales and technical solution architects to help position HPE's storage portfolio, covering hybrid cloud and data protection, for enterprise customers. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Presales support and solution mapping: help design enterprise storage solutions by aligning customer needs with HPE hardware, software and tape-based data protection products
• Customer presentations and demos: prepare technical presentations, proposals and solution briefs
• Market and competitive analysis: research trends and competitor storage offerings (on-premises, cloud, backup and archival) and support positioning for HPE GreenLake
• Collaboration: work with product, engineering and sales teams on customer proof-of-concepts and technical deep dives
• Sales operations: support opportunity tracking, pipeline hygiene and internal deal-execution tools

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business information technology, business administration with a tech focus or a related field, eligible for COOP training
• Strong interest in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data storage and server/storage hardware
• Enthusiasm for technology sales and customer engagement
• Exceptional verbal and written communication in English (Arabic is a strong plus)
• Analytical problem-solving approach to matching customer requirements to technical solutions
• Preferred: strong academic standing, campus leadership experience and comfort in a fast-paced hybrid environment
