Store Manager – Supermarket

About the role

The Store Manager leads the day‑to‑day operations of a supermarket, ensuring seamless service delivery, strong sales performance and high customer satisfaction. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager implements MAF Retail’s strategies and drives continuous business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement MAF Retail’s supermarket plans in line with corporate strategies.
• Analyse commercial performance using qualitative and quantitative data and recommend actions to boost profitability and sales.
• Control costs and manage budgets to maximise profitability.
• Review stock and sales reports, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct comparative studies across departments to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with department heads for effective stock management, including inventory levels, ordering and timely deliveries.
• Supervise maintenance of store assets and ensure hygiene, safety and security standards are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar retail management role.
• Proven experience in supermarket or retail environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Excellent people management and negotiation skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
