Store Solution Applications System Analyst

About the role

The Store Solution Applications System Analyst will implement and deploy application software, provide staff training and support, and ensure regulatory compliance and data security. The role bridges IT solutions with clinical and retail needs to improve operational efficiency and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new applications or customize existing ones to meet retail and healthcare requirements.
• Provide Level‑2 support for assigned applications, resolving bugs within agreed SLAs.
• Analyze end‑user requirements and design solutions that streamline processes and enhance patient care.
• Implement new software releases or major updates while minimizing disruption.
• Use IT data for analysis and reporting to identify inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure specialized tools meet user needs.
• Continuously monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain strict patient privacy and data protection standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies such as tele‑pharmacy, mobile health apps, and AI‑driven tools.
• Work with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to align IT solutions with business objectives.

Required profile

• BSc in IT, MIS Systems Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT applications role, preferably in retail.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python.NET.
• Experience with database technologies: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
• Knowledge of SDLC phases.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
