Storekeeper – Construction Materials & Tools Management

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Storekeeper to oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials, tools, and equipment at our project site warehouse. The role ensures accurate inventory records, minimizes waste, and supports smooth site operations through efficient store management.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records using manual logs or an ERP system.
• Organise and store items systematically for easy identification, accessibility, and safety.
• Issue materials and tools to site personnel based on approved requisitions.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely re‑ordering with procurement.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, theft, or deterioration.
• Maintain records of returns, damaged goods, and obsolete stock.
• Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports for management.
• Comply with health, safety, and site regulations within the store area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; supply‑chain or logistics diploma is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of storekeeping experience, preferably in construction.
• Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Physically fit to handle stock movement and site conditions.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic optional).
