Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing all warehouse activities, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials. This role supports production by maintaining optimal inventory levels and complying with Nestle’s safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify documents and conditions of newly received materials to ensure compliance with material‑handling processes.
• Coordinate daily receipt of materials with stakeholders, updating the database and ERP system against purchase orders.
• Record all raw materials in the ERP system, tag them with barcodes, and arrange them efficiently in the warehouse.
• Supply production departments with required quantities using inventory‑management techniques such as FIFO, LIFO, PAR levels, and average costing.
• Inspect warehouse space, raw materials, and equipment regularly to confirm adequate storage and adherence to Nestle standards.
• Perform monthly inventory control to reconcile physical stock with ERP balances.
• Follow Nestle SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) rules to ensure a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar storekeeper role, or a recent graduate.
• Computer literate with strong command of English and native Arabic speaking ability.
