Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage and maintain inventory within Crown Arabia Can Company Ltd facilities, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of goods. This role supports all departments by keeping stock accurate and readily available.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Accurately record and update inventory levels using company systems.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations, optimizing space utilization.
• Issue and distribute materials to departments based on requisitions, maintaining proper documentation.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and identify items that need reordering.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the store area.
• Operate forklifts or other material‑handling equipment safely (if certified).
• Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.
• Report damaged or defective goods and support their return or disposal.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory‑management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift operator certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management software.
• Competence in MS Office applications.
• Forklift operation (certification preferred).
