Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage shipping, receiving and inventory activities for the warehouse at Al Madinnah Al Manwarah, Sidra. Working under direction, the role ensures accurate stock records, safe handling of hazardous materials and supports the procurement team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain district inventory, including ordering, receiving and allocating plant supplies.
• Receive, inspect and reconcile incoming materials against purchase orders, documenting damages or discrepancies.
• Post daily incoming and outgoing stock, report cancelled or damaged items to the purchase department.
• Handle storage and transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring proper segregation, identification and disposal of waste.
• Maintain a tidy warehouse, records area and storage area, and inform relevant personnel of material arrivals.
• Answer procedural questions, resolve receipt and delivery issues, and arrange return of non‑conforming materials.

Required profile

• Diploma in a related field (desired) or a degree (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or store‑keeping functions, preferably 6 years.

Required skills

• Hazard risk assessment and aspect impact assessment.
• Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system principles.
• Knowledge of identification, handling, storage and disposal of wastes and expired chemicals.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and related software.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
