Strategic Analyst

About the role

The Strategic Analyst will join Savills’ Strategic Consultancy team, supporting real‑estate advisory assignments across the GCC and wider Middle East. This junior position offers the chance to develop market research and financial analysis expertise while contributing to high‑impact client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research on real‑estate markets, analysing supply, demand, pricing and pipeline data.
• Prepare market research reports, feasibility studies and macro‑economic overviews for client mandates.
• Support financial modelling, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and internal rate of return (IRR) calculations using Excel.
• Assess project feasibility, benchmark comparable developments and evaluate key performance metrics such as GLA, rental rates and FAR.
• Maintain and update market databases across multiple geographies and asset classes.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, pitches, tenders and client presentations.
• Undertake site visits and collaborate with senior consultants on strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Economics or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in real‑estate research, consulting or finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in real‑estate markets and investment analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modelling.
• Experience with financial modelling techniques such as DCF and IRR.
• Ability to conduct market research and data analysis across residential, retail, hospitality, office, industrial and entertainment assets.
