Strategy Management Office (SMO) Manager

About the role

The Strategy Management Office (SMO) Manager will lead the development, implementation and monitoring of alfanar Electric’s strategic plan. This role ensures alignment between corporate objectives and operational execution, supports performance management and enables data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with executive leadership to develop and regularly update the organization’s strategic plan and lead alignment workshops.
• Design and implement performance management frameworks, including KPIs and Balanced Scorecard, and provide regular performance reporting.
• Establish SMO governance, prepare executive dashboards and manage documentation of strategic materials.
• Oversee the strategic project portfolio, work with the PMO to monitor timelines and prioritize initiatives based on strategic value.
• Act as a liaison between senior leadership and business units, promoting engagement and alignment.
• Benchmark best practices and drive continuous improvement in strategy management.

• Proven ability to recruit, develop and manage high‑performing teams, and address low performance effectively.
• Full responsibility for operational outcomes, proactive problem‑anticipation and timely decision‑making.
• Experience transforming corporate goals into actionable business plans, monitoring performance and initiating corrective actions.
• Capability to design organizational structures, maintain job descriptions and support future development plans.
• Strong focus on quality, adaptability to new technologies and processes, and commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
