Structural Engineer with E‑houses experience

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Riyadh focuses on the structural design, engineering, fabrication support, lifting, transportation, and installation of E‑houses and prefabricated electrical buildings. The engineer will lead structural analysis and design of steel frames, floors, roofs, walls, equipment supports and related lifting and transportation arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel‑framed E‑houses, including floors, roofs, walls, equipment supports and connections.
• Develop and review lifting, transportation, and installation engineering methodologies, method statements, and calculations.
• Prepare and review 3D/CAD models, fabrication drawings, connection details, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, fabrication, production, logistics and installation teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, transportable and site‑ready.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in structural engineering of E‑houses, electrical prefabricated buildings or modular substations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Proven ability to design for heavy electrical equipment loads (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, batteries, HVAC, etc.) and for lifting, transportation and installation conditions.
• Strong knowledge of steel connections, bolted/welded details, base frames, skids and lifting lugs.
• Familiarity with international and Saudi structural codes, including wind, seismic, lifting and transportation requirements.
• Professional certification or licensure is an advantage.

Required skills

• Structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS).
• AutoCAD and 3D structural modelling tools.
• Design of steel connections, bolted and welded detailing.
• Lifting and transportation calculation methods and method‑statement development.
