Supplier Assurance Engineer (Onsite) – Jeddah

About the role

The International Supplier Assurance Engineer (SAE) is the primary quality interface between Raytheon and its supply base. The role drives supplier assessments, first‑article inspections, source inspections and continuous‑improvement activities, ensuring that subcontractors meet Raytheon’s stringent aerospace‑defense standards. This position is based onsite at a Raytheon subcontractor facility in Jeddah.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret quality requirements and guide suppliers in developing robust processes.
• Assess and develop supplier quality capabilities throughout the product life‑cycle.
• Identify systemic performance issues and implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Conduct collaborative communication with suppliers, internal teams and customers.
• Support supplier maintenance activities such as recurring audits, special‑process upkeep and certification maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3 years).
• Proven experience in Supplier Quality Management within aerospace or defense environments.
• Familiarity with commercial and military regulations and standards such as AS9100, AS9102, ISO‑9000/9001.
• Ability to pass a relevant background check.
