Supply Chain Lead – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to oversee all supply chain activities for its projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves guiding the supply chain team, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and delivering results within project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for successful delivery of all supply chain activities in the assigned area.
• Provide guidance, direction and support to reporting personnel and stakeholders on contractual obligations.
• Ensure supply chain actions align with project execution plans, schedules, budgets and procedures.
• Develop, review and communicate processes and procedures to relevant personnel.
• Establish and manage project/procurement status reports (PSR) and chair regular PSR meetings with client, procurement, engineering and project management.
• Prioritise workload, assign tasks and review complex supply chain issues.
• Utilise Wood Approved Supplier Register and conduct supplier evaluations, audits and selections.
• Carry out supplier performance reviews and enforce corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements and maintain auditable records.
• Promote safety, champion Wood’s values and embed the Financial Management Framework.
• Drive performance management, development plans and succession planning for the team.
• Deliver internal and external savings targets and implement global/regional initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience with proven results.
• Demonstrated progression to a senior supply chain leadership position.
• Strong understanding of subcontracting, procurement concepts, logistics and materials management.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain principles.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and lead cross‑functional teams.
