Surgical Equipment Manager – Jeddah

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Surgical Equipment Manager to join its Sales & Sales Support organization in Jeddah. In this field‑based position you will promote Alcon’s surgical equipment portfolio to ophthalmic surgeons, hospital stakeholders and operating‑room teams, driving sales performance and supporting improved patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, productivity, and performance targets within assigned budgets and timelines.
• Promote Alcon’s surgical equipment and solutions to healthcare professionals and key customer accounts.
• Reach contact, coverage, and frequency objectives through multiple communication channels and customer engagement activities.
• Develop and execute territory and account business plans aligned with commercial objectives.
• Organise and implement customer events, educational programmes, sales presentations, and marketing initiatives.
• Support key accounts, hospital networks, referral pathways, and market‑access activities.
• Provide input into territory sales forecasting and the effective use of promotional resources.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Alcon’s products, competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs.
• Gather and share customer feedback, market intelligence, and industry insights to support business decisions.
• Build long‑term customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills to engage ophthalmic surgeons, hospital stakeholders and operating‑room teams.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and the eye‑care landscape.
