Sustainability Associate (CER) – Entry Level

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas’s Sustainability Transition Services team in the Middle East, Caspian & Africa region as a Sustainability Associate (CER). You will support client projects and internal initiatives that help organisations measure, manage and improve their environmental and social performance while developing technical and advisory expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of sustainability report assurance engagements (ISAE 3000 / ISAE 3410) for listed and private companies.
• Assist in GHG verification and carbon footprint assessments (ISO 14064, GHG Protocol) for industrial, energy and corporate clients.
• Contribute to ESG reporting advisory and IFRS S1/S2 readiness gap assessments.
• Provide CBAM pre‑verification advisory for EU‑bound exporters in the region.
• Collect, organise and review sustainability data and draft sections of assurance reports under supervision.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience, preferably in a STEM or sustainability‑related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (B2+) and Arabic.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
