Team Lead – Trade Finance

About the role

The Team Lead – Trade Finance will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams for Finastra Trade Innovation implementations, upgrades and enhancements. You will own the full requirements lifecycle, from analysis and fit‑gap to configuration, testing and go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Define product setup, static data, charges, tariffs, accounting postings and workflows in the trade system.
• Specify and maintain interfaces with core banking, limits/credit, general ledger, payments, sanctions screening, document management and corporate channels.
• Configure SWIFT message mappings for MT7xx, MT4xx and MT798 flows, including validation rules.
• Support data migration, reconciliation rules and cut‑over planning.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios covering the complete transaction lifecycle and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Provide production support, incident management, root‑cause analysis and system health monitoring.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of IT experience with deep expertise in Finastra Trade Innovation and trade finance operations.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Finastra Trade Innovation (TI Plus, TI Plus2 or Fusion Trade Innovation) across multiple implementations or upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of documentary credits, guarantees, collections, trade financing products and ICC rules (UCP 600, ISBP 821, URDG 758, etc.).
• Understanding of SWIFT Category 4 and 7 messages and trade digitisation concepts.
