Technical Architect – Salesforce Solutions

About the role

The Technical Architect will design and lead the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for enterprise customers. You will work across Sales, Service, Community, Marketing and other clouds, ensuring architectures scale with high‑volume usage and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, translate business needs into well‑architected Salesforce solutions and set realistic expectations.
• Lead technical design sessions, produce architecture documentation, identify gaps between current and target states, and provide governance for Salesforce projects.
• Oversee custom development, integrations, data migration and ensure coding standards, code reviews and deployment best practices are followed.
• Participate in pre‑sales activities such as discovery workshops, proof‑of‑concept development and technical deep‑dives.
• Travel to client sites (estimated 50‑75% of the time) to support implementations and provide on‑site expertise.

Required profile

• Strong CRM experience with deep expertise in the Salesforce platform, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing and Community Clouds.
• Senior‑level leadership ability and proven experience designing scalable, performance‑driven solutions for large enterprises.
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems architecture, data sharing, security models and large‑volume data best practices.
• Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain relevant certifications shortly after hire.

Required skills

• Salesforce platform, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Salesforce APIs.
• Integration and ETL technologies, CPQ, marketing automation, data migration tools.
• Authentication protocols (SAML, SSO, OAuth) and platform security (TLS, SSL).
• Environment, release and code version management, deployment methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data sharing, visibility, and large‑data‑volume design patterns.
