Technical Channel Partner Engineer

About the role

John Crane is seeking a Technical Channel Partner Engineer to support and develop our certified channel partners across the MEA region. You will act as the primary technical liaison, ensuring partners meet John Crane standards while protecting our intellectual property.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical point of contact for all certified channel partners in the region.
• Provide technical support for repair, refurbishment, assembly, testing and service execution.
• Review and approve technical requests within authorized limits.
• Coordinate escalations between partners and internal engineering, product management and service teams.
• Design and deliver technical training programs for partner personnel.
• Manage certification, recertification and competence assessments of partner technicians and engineers.
• Conduct technical audits of partner facilities and verify compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Support onboarding of new partners and implementation of new service technologies.
• Maintain documentation control, record keeping and identify recurring issues for corrective action.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in industrial equipment, flow‑control or mechanical seal technologies.
• Experience delivering technical support, training and certification to external partners.
• Ability to assess technical competence, perform audits and enforce quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
