Technical Lead – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to act as the technical authority for enterprise infrastructure, covering compute, virtualization, storage, backup, operating systems and cloud platforms. The role provides architecture governance, senior escalation support and hands‑on guidance to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce architecture standards, technical designs and road‑maps for compute, virtualization, storage, backup, OS and cloud services.
• Review and approve infrastructure solutions, configurations and major technical changes.
• Serve as senior escalation point for major incidents and complex technical problems, leading root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, highly available and resilient, overseeing capacity, performance and lifecycle management.
• Support cloud and hybrid initiatives, aligning them with enterprise architecture and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, cloud and other IT teams on integration and solution design.
• Manage vendor and technology partner engagements when required.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards and governance artifacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing major incidents and complex escalations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL‑based service and change management processes.

Required skills

• VMware vSphere / VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of storage, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.
