Technical Sales Support Manager

About the role

The Technical Sales Support Manager leads the Technical Service Support department for Jotun Saudia, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of Performance Coatings. Based in Dammam, the role reports to the Protective & Marine Segment Director and combines coaching, operational oversight, and technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure technical integrity of coating sales and applications by responding to technical queries on specifications, guarantees, and performance.
• Manage complaint processes, delivering timely resolutions and feedback to maintain Jotun’s reputation as a preferred supplier.
• Drive learning from complaints through root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous monitoring.
• Provide technical training to transfer product knowledge and global processes to the local team.
• Lead and develop the team, aligning staffing and competence with business objectives and supporting R&D through trial applications and field testing.
• Establish policies, procedures, and budgets for the Technical Sales Support function in line with Marine and Protective strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of experience in technical service and sales support within coatings.
• AMPP/NACE Level 3 certification.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and techno‑commercial acumen.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and able to work effectively in Dammam.
• Strong analytical, communication, and people‑development skills.
