Technical Solution Specialist – Upstream (MENA)

About the role

Sartorius is seeking a Technical Solution Specialist for upstream bioprocessing in the MENA region. The role focuses on assessing customer needs, validating technical solutions, delivering training, and providing application expertise to accelerate adoption of Sartorius technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical consultations, presentations, trials and demonstrations to understand and address customer requirements.
• Configure and validate solution concepts using product knowledge and process expertise.
• Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance during customer and distributor engagements.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate with internal experts to resolve application challenges.
• Document findings, limitations and feedback to improve solution responsiveness.
• Deliver workshops, demonstrations and training to enable independent use of Sartorius technologies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in bioprocessing, application support, technical consulting or customer‑facing scientific roles.
• Strong knowledge of bioprocess manufacturing processes and solution design.
• Ability to collaborate with distributors, commercial teams and technical experts in matrix environments.
• Excellent communication skills to translate customer requirements into viable technical recommendations.
