Technical Support Technician – Audio Visual Systems

About the role

The Technical Support Technician provides professional on‑site support for Audio Visual (AV) systems, ensuring reliable operation and timely resolution of customer issues. You will work across meeting rooms, classrooms, auditoriums and digital signage environments, delivering installation, configuration and maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, commission and maintain AV equipment such as projectors, professional displays, LED/LCD screens, video walls, interactive displays, audio systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, control and conferencing solutions.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, cabling and network connectivity issues, including HDMI, HDBaseT, IP‑based AV and audio/video switching.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in line with service level agreements.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare technical requirements and assist in solution design.
• Coordinate escalations with manufacturers/OEM technical support.
• Complete service reports, work orders and customer acceptance documentation.
• Provide customer training and basic operational guidance after installation.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, Audio‑Visual Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on AV technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of AV networking, signal flow, structured cabling and control systems.
• Good English communication skills; Saudi driving licence preferred.
