Technician II - Entertainment & Events

About the role

Six Flags Qiddiya City is hiring a Technician II for its Entertainment & Events department in Riyadh. Working closely with the Supervisor, the technician ensures the smooth operation of live entertainment and events by setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting technical equipment and systems so guests receive an exceptional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Entertainment & Events team and keep operations ready, putting measures in place to resolve technical downtime quickly.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and park policies and procedures.
• Take part in meetings and production updates, monitor team performance and allocate resources effectively.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot audio, lighting and visual equipment for concerts, performances and other events.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on technical equipment and help install new equipment and systems.
• Maintain an organized inventory of technical equipment and supplies.
• Monitor and respond to technical issues during events to minimise disruption to guests.
• Follow safety protocols and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or above.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the Middle East and/or international markets, with expertise in theme parks, cruise lines, or entertainment, theatre, shows or event production.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of sound, lighting and visual systems.
• Leadership, team-building, communication and presentation skills, and good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
