Techno Commercial Engineer – Managed Print Solutions

About the role

The Techno Commercial Engineer will combine technical expertise in printers and Managed Print Solutions (MPS) with commercial acumen to drive business growth for SMB clients across Saudi Arabia. The role covers pre‑sales, solution design, and post‑sales support, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, assess existing printing infrastructure and design optimized MPS tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical demonstrations of printers, multifunction devices and software solutions, ensuring compliance with KSA digital transformation goals.
• Prepare techno‑commercial proposals, cost‑benefit analyses, ROI models and support tender submissions with technical documentation.
• Act as the technical point of contact during client meetings, deliver workshops and build long‑term relationships with SMB customers.
• Oversee installation, configuration and integration of printers/MPS, train client staff and provide ongoing technical support while coordinating with service teams to meet SLA requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/IT) or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with printers, copiers or MPS solutions, preferably in KSA/GCC.
• Strong financial modelling skills for proposals (ROI, break‑even) and ability to prepare persuasive techno‑commercial bids.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client‑facing abilities, with an analytical problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HP, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh or similar printer ecosystems.
• Familiarity with print‑management software such as Papercut, MYQ and uniFLOW.
• Networking basics including TCP/IP, print servers and cloud integration.
