Training Department Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Training Department Manager to lead our organization’s learning function. You will shape the strategy, oversee program delivery, and ensure employee development aligns with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy.
• Lead the Training Department, managing staff and external providers.
• Conduct training needs assessments and create annual training plans and budgets.
• Design and oversee technical, professional, leadership, and compliance programs.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs and report results to senior management.
• Maintain training policies, procedures, manuals, and a detailed training calendar.
• Introduce modern learning methods such as e‑learning, blended learning, and digital solutions.
• Support career pathing, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development or related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in creating and executing corporate training strategies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
