Training Development Supervisor

About the role

The Training Development Supervisor will coordinate, deliver, and monitor technical and non‑technical training programs for Mercedes‑Benz and FUSO commercial vehicle teams in Jeddah and Riyadh. The role ensures that learning initiatives align with business objectives and manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate annual and quarterly training calendars based on operational needs.
• Organise logistics, schedules, communications and learning resources for technical, leadership, compliance, onboarding, customer service and soft‑skill programmes.
• Deliver internal training sessions and support on‑the‑job learning.
• Manage technical training for Mercedes‑Benz trucks, vans, buses, FUSO vehicles and driver programmes.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) – registrations, records, certifications and compliance tracking.
• Prepare training schedules, reports, attendance records and evaluation documentation.
• Collaborate with department managers, workshop supervisors, Mercedes‑Benz Training Center Dubai, Daimler Global Training, EvoBus and external providers.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and performance indicators, recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, training coordination or technical training.
• Experience administering an LMS and coordinating technical and behavioural programmes.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles; automotive or commercial‑vehicle experience preferred.
• Train‑the‑Trainer certification is an advantage.
