Training Service Manager – Technical Training Lead

About the role

The Training Service Manager will lead the development and execution of technical training strategies for Hitachi Energy’s technical workforce in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the regional hub, you will design curricula, manage a team of trainers, and oversee all training‑center operations to ensure staff acquire the latest knowledge and skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, promote and execute the PGSV service training strategy at the local level, aligned with global initiatives.
• Establish and govern the PGSV training‑center model, including certification of the centre and trainers.
• Drive growth of the service‑training business, targeting new segments and both internal and external customers.
• Monitor and report on training‑center performance targets, ensuring profitability and continuous improvement.
• Plan and schedule courses, assign instructors and classrooms, and manage any schedule changes.
• Prepare and maintain training documentation, special equipment and customized devices for each session.
• Set course pricing and provide data for proposals.
• Select, manage and train outsourced trainers, and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety directives.
• Maintain detailed records of training attendance and conduct periodic instructor refreshers.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in technical training management or a related field.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing training programmes for technical audiences.
• Strong commitment to expanding training services and supporting regional business objectives.
• Ability to manage budgets, profitability and continuous improvement initiatives.
