Transportation Coordination Specialist

About the role

The Transportation Coordination Specialist supports the execution of logistics operations by translating central plans into efficient transportation actions. Working from the Riyadh headquarters, the role collaborates with external transport providers to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating with external transportation companies to implement plans aligned with operational strategies.
• Communicate schedules, adjustments, and updates to logistics partners and internal clusters.
• Maintain open communication channels with transport providers to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations.
• Participate in tendering and evaluation processes under the General Procurement department to negotiate favorable terms.
• Oversee fleet utilization, availability, and allocation to maximize operational efficiency.
• Monitor fleet performance, records, and tracking systems to enhance visibility and control.
• Support quality assurance by monitoring service quality, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols.
• Help maintain accurate transportation records, conduct audits, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist in defining contingency plans for disruptions and evaluating KPIs such as on‑time delivery rates and cost per mile.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating transportation activities and working with external logistics partners.
• Familiarity with fleet management concepts and tracking systems.
• Understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, support audits, and contribute to process improvements.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external providers.
