Venue Cleaning & Waste Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning & Waste Coordinator to support the delivery of cleaning, waste management, and environmental services across a major large‑scale sporting event in Riyadh. The successful candidate will coordinate day‑to‑day cleaning and waste operations, ensuring venues and event areas meet high standards throughout preparation and live event.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cleaning and waste management activities across assigned venues and event areas.
• Support planning and implementation of cleaning and waste operations before, during, and after events.
• Monitor deployment and performance of cleaning teams and waste collection personnel.
• Ensure sufficient waste bins, collection points, cleaning equipment, consumables and related resources are available.
• Conduct regular inspections of venues to verify cleanliness and waste management standards.
• Maintain records and daily reports covering cleaning activities, waste volumes, service performance and incidents.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in cleaning operations, waste management, facilities management, venue operations, or event operations.
• Previous experience on large‑scale or sporting events, venues, hospitality or major public facilities is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, cleaning teams, or operational service providers.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
