Vice President of Sales – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Cognition, an applied AI lab, is expanding into the Middle East and seeks a Vice President of Sales to launch and scale its operations in Saudi Arabia. This senior executive will build the KSA business from the ground up, shaping go‑to‑market strategy, partnerships, and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the country‑level P&L, hiring, sales execution and operational performance.
• Build and lead a high‑performing local team across sales, customer success, engineering, support and operations.
• Develop strategic partnerships with KSA and GCC enterprises and government agencies.
• Drive end‑to‑end sales cycles, closing deals directly and through partners.
• Align product‑market fit for the GCC with the global leadership team.
• Represent Cognition externally within KSA’s business and technology ecosystem.
• Create scalable processes for customer onboarding, implementation and success.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on localisation and feature needs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of leadership experience in KSA, preferably in fast‑growing software or AI companies.
• Proven track record launching and scaling operations in new markets with disruptive software.
• Deep relationships and understanding of KSA’s enterprise and government sectors.
• Strong enterprise sales, partnerships and GTM experience with a history of closing complex deals.
• Strategic thinker who can also execute hands‑on.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Experience building cross‑functional teams from the ground up.
• Passion for technology, innovation and shaping the future of work.
