VP of FP&A and Investor Relations
Foodics · Riyadh
Job description
About the role
Foodics, a restaurant management ecosystem and payment technology provider founded in 2014 with headquarters in Riyadh, is looking for a commercially minded, analytical and technology-forward finance leader to own its FP&A and Investor Relations. This is not a traditional budgeting and reporting role: the VP acts as a strategic partner to the CFO, CEO, Board and leadership team, improving forecast quality, managing investor and stakeholder relationships and building a scalable, AI-enabled FP&A function.
Key responsibilities
- Own annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts and reforecast cycles with clear full-year views and disciplined forecast accuracy.
- Lead monthly performance reviews across revenue, ARR, gross profit, margins, EBITDA, OPEX, cash flow, headcount and key operating metrics, turning results into executive insights.
- Build driver-based financial models and base/upside/downside scenarios, and strengthen OPEX, headcount, CAPEX and investment governance.
- Evaluate pricing, new products, expansion, partnerships, major commercial initiatives and M&A opportunities through business cases and post-investment reviews.
- Upgrade FP&A systems, reporting and automation, and act as key contact for investors, lenders and other financial stakeholders.
- Prepare Board decks, investor updates, quarterly/annual reports and ad-hoc materials, manage the capital-raise narrative and coordinate due diligence.
- Track investor sentiment, market trends and benchmarks, and use AI (Claude) to speed analysis, scenario modelling and management commentary.
Required profile
- 12-15+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial, business or strategic finance with meaningful leadership responsibility.
- Active CMA certification or CFA charter is mandatory.
- Demonstrated understanding of SaaS and fintech, including recurring revenue, retention, churn, unit economics and payments economics.
- Current, sophisticated use of Claude in daily finance work; basic AI exposure is not enough.
- Direct partnership with senior executives and experience presenting to the Executive Committee, Board and investors.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Desirable: BI tools, SQL, planning tools and finance automation
What we offer
- Competitive compensation including bonuses and potential shares.
- Regular training and an annual learning stipend.
- A team of over 30 nationalities in 14 countries, with autonomy, mentoring and challenging goals.
