VRF Technician

About the role

The VRF/VRV Technician will ensure the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of VRF/VRV air‑conditioning systems across client facilities. You will work on preventive and corrective tasks, installations, commissioning, and emergency breakdowns while adhering to company and client safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VRF/VRV units, including indoor/outdoor units, compressors, condensers and evaporators.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control faults.
• Install, commission, test and document new VRF/VRV equipment.
• Handle refrigerants: recovery, charging, leak testing, pressure testing and vacuuming.
• Conduct routine inspections, performance checks and recommend corrective actions.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Complete maintenance reports, work orders and equipment logs accurately.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and technical teams to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with VRF/VRV systems in commercial, residential, hospitality or healthcare environments.
• Preferred GCC experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, customer focus and teamwork orientation.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
