Waiter / Waitress – Hospitality Position

About the role

We are seeking energetic and self‑motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our restaurant team as Waiter/Waitress. In this position you will deliver professional, discreet and personalized service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in accordance with the hotel’s performance standards.
• Greet, seat and attend to guests throughout their visit.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu to advise and upsell guests.
• Monitor the quality of dishes and beverages before service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in the dining area and service equipment.
• Prepare the service area (mise‑en‑place) before, during and after shifts.
• Minimise waste, breakage and spoilage.
• Apply upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in Food & Beverage.
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high‑volume restaurant.
• Strong command of English.
• Hands‑on attitude, passion for service, positive demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment.
• Competencies: adaptability, customer focus, recognizing differences, taking responsibility, teamwork, understanding the job.
