Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations of an event‑fabrication workshop, handling both raw materials and high‑value finished assets. This fast‑paced role requires tight coordination with installation and project teams to meet strict, project‑based deadlines while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound material flows with workshop, installation and project managers.
• Manage inventory of raw materials (lumber, metal, foam, fabric) and custom‑built event assets, conducting regular audits.
• Design and optimise storage layouts for large, unique, or fragile items to maximise space and accessibility.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity; oversee packing, loading and secure transport of finished goods.
• Lead, train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and a clean work environment.
• Operate and oversee machinery such as forklifts, high‑reach vehicles and pallet jacks.
• Maintain digital inventory records, delivery documentation and project tracking reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of warehouse management experience, preferably in event fabrication.
• Bachelor’s degree in warehouse/logistics management, business administration or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Proven leadership ability to manage teams under high‑pressure, deadline‑driven scenarios.
• Basic understanding of event construction materials such as welding, carpentry, printing, foam and fabric.
