Warehouse Manager

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR), a mining and precious-metals company specializing in gold and precious metals refining and bullion production, is looking for a Warehouse Manager in Riyadh. The role oversees the secure and efficient management of industrial supplies and chemical reagents, ensuring hazardous materials are stored safely and inventory records are kept for operational continuity. The manager leads a team of operators and supervisors, reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and plays a key part in optimizing inventory levels and enforcing safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 98% inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and immediate investigation of discrepancies
• Ensure chemical reagents are stored in line with HSE regulations and safety data sheet requirements
• Supervise warehouse staff across shifts to cover receiving and dispatch operations
• Coordinate with suppliers and customs brokers for timely clearance and receipt of imported materials
• Maintain master data integrity and record all warehouse transactions in the Odoo system
• Optimize warehouse layout and bin locations to improve picking efficiency and storage capacity
• Support internal and external audits with accurate inventory records and compliance documentation
• Identify ways to reduce inventory holding costs and minimize waste

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of warehouse management experience in an industrial setting
• Proven experience handling hazardous chemicals and industrial reagents safely
• Demonstrated leadership of shift-based teams
• Knowledge of Saudi Customs regulations and import procedures
• Fluency in English and Arabic; valid driver's license and willingness to work on-site in Riyadh
• Nice to have: mining or precious metals experience, hazardous materials or safety certification, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 familiarity, advanced Excel

Required skills

• Odoo or similar ERP systems for inventory management
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting (preferred)

Success metrics include maintaining inventory accuracy above 98%, zero safety incidents, a 10% reduction in inventory holding costs, timely inbound and outbound transactions, successful annual physical inventory audit, high employee engagement and full compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
